![]() ![]() It also allows player 2 to make mistakes and get a boost a if for some chance player 1 dies. Overall I Feel the game Does an amazing Job at promoting working together, discovery, communication while allowing both players to still feel unique to one another. Once again not the best way but one of the better options. If we stick together and communicate what we try to do, or key an eye on one another we can work with the camera and move around in such a way to play well. Splitting the screen would increase the possibility of those rogue off screen enemies and bullets from surprising us, Since we now have half as much screen. We all can admit the camera is not great, but in a bullet hell type game I do not know what could be a better alternative. Quick comparison to some other games player two sometimes doesn't get decide which weapons or items to get as both players share all items, while it does make it seem fair to both players at the time it removes what IMO make me feel I have control as to how to progress and follow along with player 1 as if player two choices do not matter. The Gungeon: Enter the Gungeon a constantly evolving bullet hell fortress that elegantly blends meticulously hand-designed rooms within a procedurally-generated labyrinth bent on destroying all that enter its walls. Enter the Gungeon is a 2016 bullet hell roguelike game developed by Dodge Roll and published by Devolver Digital. Opening chest and taking and giving based on needs and wants add to making each player feel as if they are working together but still maintain an identity. ![]() The conversations, the strategy, surrounding getting new loot, ammo, heart and armor makes its feel as if we both work together to get through the dungeon. Having only the enemies scale and not much else seems like a great thought IMO. Player two passive allows them to become much a bit better character once player 1 dies, thus playing to the assumption that player 1 should be a better player. 1st time playing coop with little to no knowledge of the game once player 2 died i picked up the cookie they dropped on death and to my surprise revived them. Having the cookie allows player two to be revived since the will drop the cookie or items could be swapped. While choosing another character would be great for player two, the current character player two gets plays well on the assumption that player 2 is probably at a lower skill than player 1. IMO I think Co-op is great and really well thought out. ![]()
